I’ve always had a different way of looking at furniture, envisioning the beauty of imperfections and the appeal of moments in time worn. Just like the cozy familiarity of a well worn pair of faded jeans.

In our grandmothers' day, if a piece of furniture or a picture frame was distressed, it meant it had been around for generations and most of the paint had worn off in areas that had been rubbed by hands or nicked by being moved too many times. Today it can add character and is unique in that no two pieces are exactly the same and each tells a different story.

Furniture can be worn and weathered and be rejected just as we can become weathered with the storms of life and need to be restored. I want to lend a hand and turn a worn piece of furniture into something original and unique.

I have an appreciation for what is used, well loved, ragged and unkempt and a respect for natural evolution. My passion is to recreate a distressed finish as if it has been out in the elements for years, therefore, giving it the antique weathered look or refurbish old worn out pieces with color and artistic touches.

My inspiration comes from Isaiah 61. I get delight from taking ashes and transforming them into beauty. After raising a family and working in the professional field, I have embarked on the journey of my dreams by applying my creative talents.

CHANGE CAN BE GOOD!

I am so excited to be able to announce the opening of my new location!

Pam's Beauty for Ashes has moved out of the All Things New building and into the Tranquil Hour Massage studio.  We are still on the Square in Canyon.  It's the perfect place to spend an afternoon.  You can grab a drink and stroll around.  Just be sure to stop by to see me!

My time at All Things New was such a great point of growth for me.  I met lots of people and learned so much about how to run a storefront.  Though I am sad that this part of my experience is over it did allow me to realize how much I want to grow my brand, Pam's Beauty for Ashes and continue serving my customers.

So here is a little sneak peak at the goodies I have for you.  I will be open during Fair on the Square so come on by!

Furniture, clothes, jewelry, purses, scarves and more fun than you can shake a stick at!

Table-O-Jewels!  Come get fancy, or funky, whatever you prefer.

The front room

Help us name this girl!  Leave ideas in the comments below!

New purses!  Perfect for Fall.

More room for more clothes!

Leggings of all different colors and sizes

A space just for you to try on whatever you find.

Come and pick something off of my jewelry tree!

Still got lots of cute furniture.

We love our customers so much that they become family!  Hi Cindy!

So peaceful in the back.  Must be the tranquility from Susan Irlbeck and her massage studio.

The front of the store.  We are still in the process of getting some signage.  Coming soon!

Here is the view from us to the square.

So excited to begin my new adventure!  I am still available for custom painting and will be bringing in more handmade creations.
